‘‘SQUEEZING 2 HOURS EVERY DAY”!
You all must have heard about Mr. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, an Indian billionaire business magnate, stock trader and investor who recently passed away at an age of 62.
We all were shocked to hear that, right?
In his recent interview he commented that he failed to invest in good health and further urged everyone to invest more in health; he added that ‘’ my worst investment has been health; I would encourage everybody to invest the most in that’’.
We are somewhere strolling on a similar track, whether your profession is handling house or office, all of us have similar stories of being busy in our day to day routine and work.
We keep stretching like a rubber band towards our work or routine and one fine day the rubber band is so much stretched that it goes towards the opposite side and we fall ill with some or other disease.
So, what you should do is be flexible like a rubber band and avoid stretching too much on one side.
Not understanding, wait will explain.
Suppose your work is going to office and sitting in front of laptop, then you should do this for 80% of your time out of 24hours but remaining 20% of your time you should involve yourself in other activities like ordinary day to day work (simple work like washing utensils) /doing some physical activity/listening songs/ dancing/painting/singing/any other activity which you love ,this way you maintain BALANCE and don’t stretch fully on one side only.
OR
Suppose you are a housewife, then you should give 80% of your time for all your house and family related work but remaining 20% should be given to your OWNSELF which could be doing some physical activity/reading a book/making some art work/meeting friends, be it anything but not house or family related work, this way you maintain balance.
Idea is if you have done 80% of mental activity from 9-6, then 2 hours you should do some ordinary activity or physical activity for balancing and maintain health.
Balancing is not about stretching a lot for months and then going for a 7days vacation, absolutely not!
You can surely go for a vacation and enjoy but BALANCE AT A DAILY LEVEL IS MUST TO REMAIN HEALTHY!
RESEARCH SAYS TO KEEP A BALANCE OF 80 %(work related activity) AND 20% (ordinary/physical activity) on a DAILY BASIS TO REMAIN HEALTHY!
